Inter and intRaspecific Interactions
Interspecific Interactions are the way the organism interacts with other species.
Intraspecific Interactions are the way an organism interacts with other organisms within its species in this case other otters.
River otters are very territorial. Whether it is with its other otters or with other organisms in its home. Some of the other organisms that happen to live in the same home also compete for food and they do not often fight but it has been shown that they sometimes do have fights over food and territory.
